Saint John, IN – Batbusters-Indiana would like to welcome Batbusters South-Central Indiana to our growing Batbuster family.   Batbusters South-Central Indiana plans to add a 14u team to the 2021-2022 season.   We would also like to welcome coach Shannon Reed and assistant coach Hope Grange to the staff.

TRYOUT DATES:

July 27th from 6-8 at Grand Park Westfield, IN field number 26 – park in parking lot J
July 29th from 6-8 at Martinsville High School, Martinsville IN
A third tryout will be held in Bloomington, IN – time/date/location TBD

COACHING INFORMATION:

Shannon Reed has been coaching for over 15 years, of which 13 of them have been coaching softball. He started coaching his son’s baseball team which led to his son continuing to play at the collegiate level. Shannon then started his softball coaching career with the creation of the Diamond Dynamics organization out of Bloomington, IN. The Diamond Dynamics team started as an entry level softball team. Through his dedication and effort, the team developed to compete at the highest level. His ability to develop fundamentals and competitiveness drew the attention of the Indiana Magic Gold National organization. He joined the IMG organization in 2019 and has been coaching there for two years prior to joining the Batbusters organization.

Hope Grange A Former Division I softball catcher at Indiana University. Currently a senior at IU studying Fitness and Wellness. Before college, she played travel ball for the Indiana Shockwaves – Ramsey. In high school she was a 4x All-Conference and 2x All-State selection. She also participated in the North/South All-State All Star game. Originally from Terre Haute, IN but now resides in Bloomington where she coaches at CrossFit Bloomington and gives softball lessons at Diamond Dynamics.
