Batbusters 09 Gross 12u took Sunday’s game in dramatic fashion, with  a 10-9 walk-off victory over Windmills 09 – Runquist 12u.  Batbusters 09 Gross 12u trailed 9-8 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Morgan D doubled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Windmills 09 – Runquist 12u scored five runs in the second inning, but Batbusters 09 Gross 12u still managed to pull out the victory.  The big inning for Windmills 09 – Runquist 12u came thanks to a walk by Player, a home run by Camille C, an error on a ball put in play by Abby G, and a double by Bella L.

Batbusters 09 Gross 12u captured the lead in the first inning.  Soleil S tripled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

In the bottom of the second inning, Batbusters 09 Gross 12u tied things up at six.  Peyton L drove in one when Peyton doubled.

Anna D was the winning pitcher for Batbusters 09 Gross 12u. The righthander went six and a third innings, allowing eight runs on 13 hits and striking out one.

Brianna M was on the rubber for Windmills 09 – Runquist 12u. The bulldog surrendered ten runs on 13 hits over six and a third innings, striking out four.

Batbusters 09 Gross 12u had 13 hits in the game.  Peyton M, Miah A, Peyton, Ariyana B, and Morgan each managed multiple hits for Batbusters 09 Gross 12u.  Peyton went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Batbusters 09 Gross 12u in hits.

Windmills 09 – Runquist 12u totaled 13 hits.  Camille, Adalyn A, Emery F, Bella, and Arianni Z all collected multiple hits for Windmills 09 – Runquist 12u.  Camille led Windmills 09 – Runquist 12u with three hits in five at bats.
